Design and simulation of QCA-based 3-bit binary to gray and vice versa code converter in reversible and non-reversible mode

The current Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) technology has reached its peak due to the fundamental physical limits of Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS). Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) is considered a proper alternative CMOS in digital circuit design. QCA features like low power, small area, and high speed nanoscale A code converter that converts determined another one. Code converters such as Binary Gray, Gray Binary, BCD have crucial role fast signal processing systems. Also, are used base unit for data transmission into Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU) perform processes. Binary-to-Gray input number. In this paper, we propose 3-bit vice versa QCA. Previous proposed designs could only convert or versa, but design both B2G G2B codes circuit. We our reversible non-reversible modes. simulation done using QCADesigner 2.0.3 tools. results show superior existing terms evaluation parameters cell count, latency, quantum cost.
